Taster sessions

Most activity groups are happy to let you attend a session to give you a “taster” of what to expect if you choose to join. Just contact the group’s secretary.

Some groups however offer more formal taster or introductory sessions which you can attend:

Petanque / Boules

Possible rerun of taster sessions in 2019.

Racketball

For beginners too!Racketball is played on a regular squash court with a larger ball, which does not need warming up (like in squash) and a shorter racket. The fact that the ball moves slower gives the opponent more time to react and get to the ball. The shorter racket also helps with hand eye coordination making the ball easier to strike. If you are interested in finding out more, or having a free taster session at Collingham and Linton Squash and Racketball Club, then please contact Stephen Widdison 07802 370995 swiddison892@btinternet.com
